Project Background
The worst-ever floods in Pakistan’s history, that started late July 2010, have left a long trail of death and devastation, damaged infrastructure and destroyed standing crops. There has been large scale damage to infrastructure damage, such as roads, bridges, irrigation canals, dams, schools and health centres. DI Khan was one of the most affected southern districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. SEED/Concern responded to the call and came up with a package of 175 transition shelter for the flood-affected people of three villages of Union Council Parova.A gap of 70 shelters was identified at the end of the 175 shelter project
Project Goal
Flood-affected people in D.I.Khan provided permanent shelters.
Project Achievement
A total of 368 male, female and children have benefited from the completed 70 shelters
Total 70 households receiving Transitional Shelters pursuant to Early Recovery Working Group Guidelines and FOG [Filed Operations Guide] guidelines.

6 Womens headed households receiving Transitional Shelters pursuant to Early Recovery Working Group Guidelines and FOG [Filed Operations Guide] guidelines.

4 Disable and Senior citizen households receiving Transitional Shelters pursuant to Early Recovery Working Group Guidelines and FOG [Filed Operations Guide] guidelines.
